BetMania has two real sister sites: BetPhoenix and Skybook. All three are owned by the same company, BetPhoenix Entertainment Group, based in Costa Rica. We also checked Jazz Sports and GTbets for a shared back end, but found no proof they are linked to BetMania.
What counts as a sister site
A sister site is a betting site that shares a back end with another site, or shares an owner with another site. That is the only rule we use. Two sites looking alike does not make them sisters. Two offshore books both taking bets on the same sports does not make them sisters either. Lots of betting sites use similar templates and similar odds boards. That is not proof of anything.
Real proof looks like one of two things. Either a public record shows the same company owns both brands. Or the two sites run on the same software behind the scenes, so one site can be relabelled as the other just by changing a setting. When a betting site’s address bar shows something like a “skin” code, that is a strong clue. It means one piece of software is serving more than one brand name, and the operator just swaps the logo and colours for each brand. That is direct, checkable proof of a shared system, not a guess based on how two sites look.
BetMania’s confirmed sisters: BetPhoenix and Skybook
BetMania is one of three online betting brands run by BetPhoenix Entertainment Group. The other two are BetPhoenix and Skybook. This is not our guess. It comes from independent sportsbook directories that track site ownership, and they list all three brands under the same parent company, based in Costa Rica. The same directories also list the same betting software running behind all three sites.
Bettor forums back this up in their own way. Posts about BetMania often talk about BetPhoenix and Skybook in the same breath, treating them as one group rather than three separate businesses. That matches the ownership records. If you have had a problem with one of these three sites, such as a slow payout or a frozen account, it is worth knowing that the same company is behind the other two. A pattern of problems at one often shows up at the others, because the same people are running the show and, in many cases, the same software is doing the work.
Skybook and BetPhoenix are both still open for new players. Both let you look at sports odds and sign up without much trouble. Skybook has the same look and feel as BetMania in places, and the site displays the same kind of country-blocking message BetMania shows to visitors from countries where it cannot legally take bets. That is another small sign the two sites share the same underlying system, not just a similar name.
Between the two, BetPhoenix is the more old-school of the pair, with a plain odds board laid out like a traditional sportsbook price sheet, listing games, spreads and totals line by line. Skybook has a similar odds layout and the same style of live chat support widget as BetMania, right down to the position of the chat bubble on the page. None of this changes the betting itself, but it is one more small clue pointing at the same team building and maintaining all three sites.
What we checked but could not confirm
We were told to look hard for a link between BetMania and a different group of sites: Jazz Sports, BetPhoenix, and GTbets, based on a technical trick these platforms sometimes use. Some betting platforms serve several brands from one shared address, and the brand name is chosen by a code in the web address, called a “skin”. We found solid proof that Jazz Sports itself works this way. Jazz Sports has a special address that loads a page built to swap its own branding in through a skin code.
We then tried to get that same shared address to show BetMania or BetPhoenix branding instead, by changing the skin code in the address. It did not work cleanly. The page stayed branded as Jazz Sports both times. We also found a technical record suggesting a link between BetPhoenix’s address and Jazz Sports’ address, but the page would not load properly when we tried it, so we cannot call that proof. On top of that, public ownership records list Jazz Sports under a different parent company altogether, one that also runs a small set of other sites that have nothing to do with BetMania.
Being straight with you: we cannot say Jazz Sports or GTbets are sister sites of BetMania. We looked for hard proof and did not find it. If you see other sites online claiming BetMania, Jazz Sports, BetPhoenix and GTbets are all one big family, treat that claim with caution. We could not back it up.
Sports betting
BetMania and its two confirmed sisters all offer betting on the big American sports: NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL, plus college football and college basketball. You can also bet on soccer leagues from Europe and South America, tennis, boxing, MMA, and motor racing. Bet types cover the basics that most bettors want: point spreads, moneylines, totals, player props, parlays, teasers and futures bets. Live, in-game betting is offered too, with odds that update while a game is in progress.
None of the three sites is strong on niche sports like darts or esports. If those matter to you, look elsewhere. For the mainstream American sports, all three cover much the same ground, which is expected given they are run by the same company.
Casino games
Alongside sports betting, BetMania, BetPhoenix and Skybook all run a casino section with slot machines, table games like blackjack and craps, and a smaller live-dealer casino area. The casino side is the weaker part of all three sites. Reviews and player comments online describe the casino game selection as thin compared to dedicated online casinos, and some players have raised fairness questions about certain games, though nothing has been proven. If casino games are your main interest rather than sports betting, a dedicated crypto casino will usually give you a much bigger and better-tested game library.
ID checks and how much hassle they are
All three sites ask for identity checks before you can take money out, even though sign-up itself is quick and does not ask for much. The hassle comes later, at withdrawal time, not at sign-up. Expect to be asked for a photo ID and sometimes a utility bill to prove your address before a withdrawal is paid out.
This check is more of a hassle if you choose a slow withdrawal method. One documented case involved a bettor waiting around two weeks for a bank cheque, partly because ID documents had to go back and forth first. Crypto withdrawals move the ID step along much faster, because there is less paperwork tied to a crypto payout than to a cheque or bank transfer. If you want the least amount of ID hassle, get your account verified early and use crypto for your withdrawal.
Crypto and other payment methods
Bitcoin is the standout payment option across this group of sites. Crypto deposits land in your account almost right away, and crypto withdrawals are the fastest way to get paid, usually landing within a day or two once approved. Crypto payouts also tend to come with lower fees than other withdrawal methods.
Beyond crypto, these sites also take deposits by Visa card, Neteller, Skrill (also called Moneybookers), bank wire, person-to-person cash transfer, and paper cheque. Card deposits are quick, usually clearing within minutes. Cheques and wire transfers are the slowest way to get paid, and cheque withdrawals often carry a flat processing charge on top of the wait. If speed matters to you, crypto is the better choice by a wide margin over cheques and wires.
Bottom line
BetMania’s real, provable sister sites are BetPhoenix and Skybook. All three are run by the same company and offer a similar mix of American sports betting, a smaller casino section, and identity checks that mostly bite at withdrawal time rather than at sign-up. Crypto is the fastest and cheapest way to move money in and out of any of the three. Claims linking BetMania to Jazz Sports or GTbets through a shared back end did not hold up when we checked, so we are not listing those as sister sites. If a slow payout or a frozen account at BetMania has put you off, BetPhoenix and Skybook are worth knowing about, but remember they share the same company and, on the evidence we found, much of the same plumbing behind the scenes.
