Bitstarz Casino Sister Sites

Updated 13 September 2026 · Similar Sites

BitStarz has no confirmed sister site among the crypto casinos we checked. Its own terms page names the operator as Gareton B.V., registered in Curaçao under number 160656, holding licence OGL/2024/165/0185. That is different from every other casino we checked here, including 7Bit and mBit.

What we mean by “sister site”

A sister site is a casino that shares a back-end platform with another casino, or shares an owner with it. That is the only thing that counts. Two casinos that just look alike, or that use the same slot games, are not sisters. Lots of unrelated casinos buy games from the same big studios. That tells you nothing about who owns them.

The strongest proof is a matching operating company name and a matching company registration number, or a matching licence number. These are hard to fake and hard to copy by accident. A shared logo style, a shared bonus type, or a shared games list is weak proof, because thousands of casinos share those things and are run by completely different companies.

What BitStarz’s own footer says today

BitStarz builds its footer with code that loads after the page opens, so a plain, automatic page read misses it. We waited for the page to finish loading and also checked the casino’s own terms page, which repeats the same operator details in plain text. Here is what it says, word for word:

  • Operating company: Gareton B.V.
  • Company registration number: 160656 (Curaçao)
  • Licence number: OGL/2024/165/0185, issued by the Curaçao Gaming Authority
  • Registered address: Landhuis Zuikertuin, Zuikertuintjeweg z/n, Willemstad, Curaçao

That is a clean, current, first-party statement of who runs BitStarz. It is not old information carried over from a review written years ago.

The old Direx N.V. and Dama N.V. story

Older reviews, including plenty still online, call BitStarz part of Direx N.V. or say it is licensed through Dama N.V. Both of those were true at different points in the past. BitStarz launched under Direx N.V., and Direx’s old brands later moved under Dama N.V., which for years acted as a shared licence holder for a large group of casinos, on the SoftSwiss platform.

That is exactly the kind of link a reader should be careful with. Dama N.V. is a licence host, not one company. It has sat behind dozens of casino brands that have nothing to do with each other beyond paying for the same licence. Two brands both naming Dama N.V. only tells you they used the same landlord, not that they are family. It is much weaker evidence than a matching operating company and registration number.

BitStarz today does not show Dama N.V. at all. It shows Gareton B.V., with its own registration number and its own individual Curaçao licence. So the old Dama N.V. link is history, not the current picture, and it is not something we can use to link BitStarz to anything else today.

Checked against 7Bit and mBit: no match

7Bit Casino and mBit Casino both currently show Scores55 Tech B.V. as their operator, both with company registration number 162990, and both with licence number OGL/2024/1307/0748. That is a genuine match on all three points, so 7Bit and mBit are sister sites of each other.

BitStarz shows none of those details. Different company name, different registration number, different licence number. That is a clean, clear result: BitStarz is not a sister site of 7Bit or mBit.

Other brands we checked

We also looked at Oshi, Mars Casino, Playamo, Joo, Golden Star, Betchan and Bob Casino, since these are the names most often mentioned near BitStarz on older sister-site lists. Several of these domains block automatic page checks with a 403 error, which is a common bot filter and not proof that a casino has closed. We looked past that error wherever we could, using each brand’s own terms page or a licence certificate instead.

  • Oshi, Playamo and Golden Star: all three currently show the same operating company, Novatrix S.R.L., and the same licence codes from the Anjouan and New Brunswick regulators. That is a genuine match, so these three are sister sites of each other.
  • Betchan and Bob Casino: both show N1 Interactive Ltd as the operator, and both show the same Malta Gaming Authority licence number, MGA/B2C/394/2017. That is also a genuine match, so Betchan and Bob Casino are sister sites of each other.
  • Joo Casino: shows its own separate operator, Stable Tech N.V., with its own Curaçao licence number, OGL/2024/161/0191. It does not match any other brand on this list.
  • Mars Casino: older material ties this brand to Direx N.V. as well. Present-day sources disagree on whether it is still trading under that name or has moved on, and automatic checks alone cannot settle that. Either way, nothing about it matches Gareton B.V., BitStarz’s current operator.

None of these seven brands match BitStarz on operating company, registration number or licence number. So none of them are confirmed sister sites of BitStarz either.

Why a shared software company is not the same thing

BitStarz runs on the SoftSwiss platform, the same back-end technology used by a huge number of other casinos, including several named above. That is a software supplier relationship, the same as a shop buying its shelves from the same wholesaler as a rival shop down the road. It says nothing about who owns either casino.

The same goes for slot suppliers. BitStarz’s game library includes titles from big studios such as Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO and Betsoft, among many others. Those same studios sell games to hundreds of unconnected casinos. A shared games supplier is not proof of shared ownership, and it should never be written up as if it were.

The games at BitStarz

BitStarz carries a large slot catalogue built from dozens of studios, with big names such as Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Betsoft, Endorphina and Hacksaw Gaming well represented, plus a smaller run of in-house titles. There is a wide spread of themes and styles, from simple three-reel games to newer high-volatility slots.

For live dealer games, BitStarz uses well-known studios including Evolution, along with smaller live suppliers. Players get the usual spread of live blackjack, roulette and baccarat tables, plus a handful of game-show style titles with a live host. None of this is unique to BitStarz. The same live studios stream tables to many other casinos too, for the same supplier reason explained above.

How much hassle the ID checks are

You can sign up at BitStarz and start playing without handing over any documents straight away. That is not the same as never needing to verify who you are. BitStarz uses a risk-based check, which usually kicks in at the point of a withdrawal, especially a large one, a run of fast repeat transactions, or anything that looks unusual, such as signing in through a VPN.

If you are asked to verify, expect to send a photo ID, a recent proof of address, and sometimes a selfie holding your ID or a screenshot of a payment method. Most players who deposit and withdraw normally never see more than a light check. It is fair to call this a low-hassle system most of the time, with the chance of a fuller check if something about your account stands out.

Coins taken and withdrawal speed

BitStarz takes a solid spread of the main cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin and Tether, with several others also accepted. A built-in exchange feature lets players convert a much wider range of other coins into a supported balance before playing.

Crypto withdrawals are the fast option here. Once a withdrawal is approved, players generally report it landing in minutes rather than hours. Card and bank-based withdrawals, where offered, follow ordinary banking timescales of several working days, so players who want speed should stick to crypto in and crypto out.

Bottom line

BitStarz is run today by Gareton B.V., registered in Curaçao under number 160656, holding its own Curaçao licence, OGL/2024/165/0185. That is a separate footprint from every other brand we checked, including 7Bit, mBit, Oshi, Mars Casino, Playamo, Joo, Golden Star, Betchan and Bob Casino. The clearest genuine family links we found among that group are Oshi, Playamo and Golden Star together under Novatrix S.R.L., and Betchan with Bob Casino together under N1 Interactive Ltd. BitStarz itself stands apart, with no confirmed sister site on the evidence its own pages show right now.
